The clips went missing and I’m having difficulty finding a replacement for it.
One of the buyer said it is a little heavy, not sure it can be made any lighter for the price.

Petmate sky kennel is a heavy-duty IATA compliant travel kennel for live animal transport. This series have different sizes: 21”, 28”, 32”, 36”, 40”, 48”, which are suitable for different sizes of live animals. It is made of made with 90% pre-consumer recycled plastic. (although the crate is a eco-friendly and cheap price product, but because it contains a lot of recycled plastic, it is not sturdy enough compared to virgin plastic products).
Advantages from review:
- It is closest to airline requirements, approved by the USDA and IATA. From the buyer that on a military move from the states.
- Medium level of price and quality, compared to pet stores, it is much cheaper.
Disadvantages from review:
- Door latches fail constantly, one of the buyer said the door latch are easy to be broken, after 6 months when the latch replaced, it get broken again.
- Quality is not as good as before, the buyer Bauerere said the dog is able to scratch a giant hole through the plastic, compared with one from 1980s.

“My only issues is that a piece of the metal on the gate came in bent so it didn’t really fit into the hole unless you bend the hell out of the plastic but with a little fix it was fine.”
“This crate is NOT worth the $150 price! The plastic cover on the latch pops off daily so the springs and metal bars that are part of the latching mechanism fall out.”
